In photography, nude refers to the artistic representation of the naked human body. In male nude photography, the focus is on the conscious staging of form, proportion, posture and expression. Unlike in traditional art history, where the female body has long been the focus, the male nude focuses on the representation of strength, dynamics, musculature, as well as subtle aspects of vulnerability and individuality. Lighting, shadows and perspective play a central role in plastically highlighting the physical contours and lines. The aim is not the erotic representation, but the aesthetic and artistic exploration of the male body as an expression of beauty, identity and character.
