Another highlight of his self-staging is the role of the intellectual literary critic and vampire influencer Sasa Tepes, the fictional grandson of Vlad III Tepes. As an influencer vampire with reading glasses and biting humor, he likes to stage himself as an “enlightened undead of the present.” With a serious facial expression, but sparkling mockery in his eyes, he lets his community know:
“Honestly, at my grandfather’s court, there were neither equality nor gender officers. No awareness team, no diversity training, not even accessible dungeons! That’s not on – the man would be canceled immediately today.”
With such statements, Sasa Tepes makes it clear that even as a bloodsucker, one can show attitude. Between book club, selfie spot in the coffin, and biting comments about toxic masculinity in the Middle Ages, he becomes the activist vampire icon who relentlessly exposes historical grievances – and incidentally collects likes and followers in the shadow realm.
